am i the only one.....

who hates to see odd pence in their current accounts?

it really annoys me :rotfl: i have online banking with natwest and i have two accounts (a spending and a current account) i then have seperate savings account with ing direct, but as soon as i was allowed an isa (with natwest) i opened one, now if any of my accounts have odd balnces ie £134.65 i always transfer (using online banking) the odds ie 65p into my isa then when its the end of the financial year i withdraw it all (its a nice little pot then) and stick it in my ing accounts... so what do you do with you odd pennies in your accounts?

why do you withdraw money from an ISA (tax free) and put it in an ING a/c presumably not tax free?

i getv distressed about odd pence as it is not tidy and I do not like that. ( yes I know I am obsessive) I had to round it up, or it annoys me until I do!

because the ing has a higher intrest rate and what i pay on tax usally makes up for what they give me back in intrest, also i cant 'see' and its harder to withdraw money from my ing account so less temptation :D

I used to be this way with savings accounts and had to round them up once the interest was added. Seem to have got past it now, or to busy to notice maybe.
  • I always do this, I can't stand odd pence in the savings account....although now it's at a nicely rounded £0.00!
