The only thing OH said when I asked him what he would like me to grow was oranges. I laughed and said ok I'll get some seeds. After seeing these trees on plant offers I was wondering if they were any good. So has anyone bought these or similar for a quik review please?

I've changed the link to antonia1's cheaper offer

There's not a lot of information there, is there? You know, important stuff like whether they need bringing in over the winter. I'm not sure I'd be happy to buy from that site...

    Yeh, there's a bit more on t&m

but plant offers you get free p&p. I just didn't now how long it would take to fruit or if they need a lot of looking after.

T&M and Plant Offers are one and the same, if you send off for something from PO it arrives from T&M - I've had quite a few things from them, they usually take a few weeks to arrive but are generally pretty good offers.

I once had a little lemon tree but that was in my pre-greenfingered days and I just wanted it to look pretty without doing anything to it and eventually it died . However I am tempted my this offer and am willing and able to care for it properly so I might give in to temptation. I would say that I'm pretty sure they need to come indoors or in possibly in a greenhouse over winter and I may be wrong but I bet it will be a fair while before you get any fruits.

They do look cute though don't they?

If people do decide to get one do this first to get free p&p like with the peony before.

Oh actually my original link already had the code put in so you shouldn't need to do that. But anyhow if it dissapears well there you go.

I'm also very tempted with these just to try, but haven't as I'm on the look out for a good grape vine offer.

They're a bit more expensive, but I've been resisting temptation on these, which are supposed to be UK hardy.

But as I've never managed to keep a calamondin alive, I'm a bit reluctant to risk the money....

Ausmummy-re vine-I'm lucky enough to have a localish garden centre that sells Blackmoor fruit trees. I bought a vine earlier this year for around £12 and it's taller than me already.

Blackmoor have a website, but the P&P for one item is a bit steep...

Thanks for that. I want one for outside that is good for eating and making wine. Well I want for eating and OH wants for the wine lol.

I saw those citrus ones earlier but too much for this year. Just looking at those trees makes my body ache remembering how it was to pick the bleeders in aus.
