When I buy a pack containing ink and paper for a Cannon Selphy 720 printer I find the ink always runs out before I have used all the paper.
Just bought a pack for 36 pics, ink ran out after 27 prints!!!
Try to eMail Cannon but their web page won't let me!!!!
So don't buy Cannon if you don't want to be short changed!
Anyone know how I can contact them by eMail. could post but don't want to phone as I find these sort of people don't act on phone calls?

Perhaps if you try Canon instead of Cannon you might get somewhere..0

Does it say the ink will last for all the pages you wish to print?
At what quality, with what colours?0 -
We used to have a Canon photo printer and the amount of pictures we got out of a pack depended on what quality we printed them. Does the pack not say something like 'Prints Up To 36 Pictures'?If At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.00

Wow. Sounds like someone should be fired. I thank yew.
EDIT: And yes, the amount of ink used will depend on the quality of the pics. Most of these 'x amount of prints' statements are based on lower than average ink use, I suspect.0 -
All printers are like this. You might be better giving up printers rather than just canon0

OK I put an extra N in Canon! With this printer you buy a pack of paper and ink. The pack is KP-361P and states "Ink and paper (for 36 prints)" I dont know why they use the brackets! There is no choice of picture quality. You cannot buy the ink separately so I have lots of paper and no way of using it!0

Perhaps the '(for 36 prints)' refers to the paper, not the ink ???
What Canon printer do you have that you cannot buy ink separately for??"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -
As I said in my post it is a Canon Selphy 720. I have an HP printer but wanted something portable to use without a computer to do quick prints.0

Sorry should have read your OP better! This link mentions 5% coverage:
http://www.stinkyinkshop.co.uk/acatalog/kp-36ip.html
...and this explains what '5% coverage' means:

Thanks for the links. But it seems to me that the 5% is for text and this printer ONLY prints photos! Going to ring Canon now.0
