Aww thank you happysad I had given up hope on this thread :). I had paid over a fiver for some false eyelashes(which I am in love with) but have gone a bit grotty after a few wears and really need to do it MSE if I'm to keep up the glamour :) I've had too many compliments to give up on them now, but too tight to pay the full price :D

These are the ones i bought

  • I've never worn false eyelashes, as I have very sensitive eyes and can only just handle mascara. My 18 year old daughter buys the Primark brand in the flashy colourful boxes - I'm sorry I'm not sure how much they are but I do know they are not expensive. She says they are great and loves trying out all the different 'styles'.

I wear false eyelashes all the time, I usually prefer to cut them in half and just use them on the outer corners, for this reason I like the ones that are longer in the middle so I get symmetry, I also like to reuse so I prefer the ones with a thicker strip, I take off any excess glue before each use (the thicker ones can take this but the thinner ones just go out of shape)and mine usually last at least a month with everyday use:money:I have tried loads and by far the best ones I have found come from my local 99p shop:DI have stocked up to say the least, just in case they stop selling them, a quick word about glue, don't bother with the stuff they come with, I have just finished a bottle from Ruby and Mille that came in a kit (rubbish eyelashes though) and now I have bought a Revlon glue from Boots for £4.99, the R&M one lasted me about 5 months and the Revlon one looks bigger so not bad value and and a really good product, not fiddly and sticks very well, I have been told MAC do a good one as well but I have to travel to get MAC and its double the price, hth:)
Thank you for this site Martin

My local Nails Inc. counter in Debenhams offer a 'Get Lashed' service. You pay for the lashes (my choice were a tenner) and they glue them on for you there and then, perfect on a saturday afternoon :)
They give you the box and the glue so you can reuse them over and over!

eBay list 5000 lashes. What words could I enter to list the type of lashes you get from the 99p store.

I would like to purchase on eBay there were over 5000 lashes. What words would you use to get a list of the type of lashes you buy from your 99 pound shop.

How many days can you or do you leave your lashes on for?
