Hi can anyone help please? I have a Hewlett Packard Laptop and cannot log onto the internet, I have been told this is a common fault as the chip under the touchpad breaks up as you are constantly using the it. When i spoke to HP they said the laptop was just out of warranty. The laptop cannot be repaired so is basically useless. Any thoughts please?
Thank you Jo-fish

Are you sure it's a hardware fault?
If so, ask the retailer to fix it under the sale of goods act.
If it's related to the nvidia overheating problem, there may be an extension to the warranty terms from the manufacturer
