Have you created a new DUN for connecting to fast 4?

I'd say this was a dialup settings problem. If the modem works for BT dialup, it doesn't look like a problem with that.

A new DUN looks like it's needed.

I set this up for a friend recently. On the fast4 website, you can click a button on your account, and they will set up your DUN settings for you.

I can't remember where I found this. Have you looked on the support section? (Something like setting up your connection) I know this worked because clicking the button took just a few seconds for the settings to be completed. So much easier than setting them yourself.

    Assuming you`re running XP
    start--control panel--network connections--create a new connection--follow the wizard
