I will try the co-op bank as well, but I suspect it will be a no also... but I will appeal because was there some kind of thing passed in March about everyone being entitled to a basic bank account, a legal right.

I personally cannot see the issue when I am not asking for credit. The annoying thing is, my last bank account was operated find and credited every month with money and I never bounced a DD!
