Hello All,
What is the best bank to open foreign currency account with?
HSBC or Natwest what are there charges lets say if account is in US$
Let if any other good option.
Will use it for personal use and will transfer money via wire transfer from this account.

for starters.
What they don't mention (and may be significant) is the exchange rate loading used when funding the account from a sterling one - or the costs of wire transfers
I'm sure you are capable of finding Natwest's equivalent online.0 -
Citibank offer a US dollar current account with no monthly charge. If they accept you for a dollar account, worth opening a GBP account too, because transfers between GBP and USD are then easy, and at a reasonable exchange rate.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. As above, Citibank are quite good and do not have a mothly charge. I opened a GBP account, then a US $ and a Euro account too. Transfer between these is instant.0 -

Yes no monthly fee on Natwest as well but kind of percentage they charge when you deposit or withdraw money.0
