Looking at joining a gym and found this...

You can win £3000 worth of goodies, including a 50" Plasma TV, DVD Player, Xbox 360, and a Barbeque at Total Fitness. The competition is open to Total Fitness gym members and non gym members alike, so everyone can enter!

Just a heads up that Total Fitness are phoning to ask if you would like to join your local fitness club as a result of entering the comp, looks like they are checking entries to see if you are a member

I don't think they are checking to see if you're a member, they are using it to see if you'd like to become a member. It does say above it's open to members and non-members alike. I've had a call but it was when I was out and the guy left a message saying he was trying to find out if I was interested and to give him a ring if I was.

Hmmm didn't realise that there where two ways of entering one for members and one for non members

so there is no need for them to check to see if you are a member
