Released on 14 June, BINGO! is the brand new studio album from the inimitable Steve Miller Band - and it's been well worth the 17 year wait since the band's last studio album.
From Monday 14 June ...we are giving away copies of Bingo! every day along with copies of the outstanding Live From Chicago DVD and T-Shirts
And then on 21 June one person that's entered the competition will win themselves some stunning framed Storm Thorgerson album artwork, a copy of the album and a pair of tickets to see Steve Miller Band at the Albert Hall in London on 7 October.

Probable Answer = 27
I haven't found proof of this answer and every discography I've looked at seems to be incomplete - the most detailed is HERE from which I can make out around 27 albums. Bingo is the 16th Studio Album, so with Compilations etc. 27 sounds about right, and 42 is a bit high.
