Best Product For Minor Car Scratches??

Hi,

I seem to have acquired some minor scratches on the side of my car (i think from brushing against twigs at speed on a country lane). They aren't deep (ie you cant feel them with finger nail) but iv tried a couple of products (one off QVC-doh) and neither have had much of an effect

So-what is the best product for removing minor scratches/scuffs on cars??????? Any ideas

  • I have just got a product from halfords called funnily enough car scratch remover i think carplan make it.You will find it near the polishes and colourmagic stuff.I had some scratches on my car and after using this stuff they are gone.I also got a good polish because the scratch remover dulls the paint finish slightly.

It comes in a small tube and costs £6.99 work it into the scratch then wipe off. Then get a polish and shine the area with that once or twice for a deeper shine and the scratch marks are gone.My scratches were quite deep and it has made them disappear

i used some stuff out of halfords, it was like a crayon that matched the colour of the car. It filled the scratch, then polish over it.

Worked a treat, sold the car in 'mint condition' :)

  • I use Meguiars Scratch X. By far the best I have used and its a bit more gentle on your paintwork compared to T-Cut

All of thier products are really good. Some Halfords stores stock them.
