If only the charities helping people with debts had the same advertising budgets!0

P.S. Am proud to say I signed that petition as soon as Martin set it up... I don't think she took any notice of it though, did she?!
I used to think Carol was quite a nice lady...:o now I point out to anybody and everybody who will listen to me just what low moral standards she has (trying to encourage others into debt just to keep herself in a lucrative contract!)...much to Mr Piglet's embarrassment!!;)

I make it about £20,000 for each person, so you are well below average0 -
I've been down the loan route a few times and even put the cc debt on the mortgage a few years ago. You realise you are in trouble, panic and it seems like the easy solution.
I am home during the day, I don't put the tv on anymore, these adverts are so wrong they use the words "pay your debts off with one simple loan" etc and "for home owners" mean that it will be secured on your home :mad:0 -

comforting ... and yet scary ... where are the rest of them, if not on MSE?????0 -
p.s I think Martin asked that we don't discuss Miss Voderman whilst the petition is running due to legal reasons?0

And what's this latest thing... - "due to a little known rule in goverment legislation, we can write off the majority of your debt" - all about?!?!
Talk about reeling vulnerable people right in...
Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:wall: :wall: :wall:
