CTC's, Mileage & Car User Payments

Good Afternoon All,

Can anyone please tell me whether or not mileage allowance paid from work is classed as income, and therefore to be counted for annual salary for CTC purposes?

Also - I receive a car user allowance of approx £52 per month which is taxable - so am I right in thinking that this is to be declared as income?

ALL Taxable income needs to be declared so you would have to inform them of car allowance

Mileage expenses are not taxable.

Unless the rate paid is greater than 40p per mile for the first 10,000 and 25p per mile thereafter.
