BMI airmiles - where are they?

Has anyone else gone for the BMI classic master card like to to bag the 20000 BMI miles and dosent seem to have received them? Martin says he has it in writing on his page on the subject but on logging onto their BMI homepage thing with the membership number they gave me, I seem to be sadly lacking in miles!

Any suggestions....

    Dont worry, they will arrive. Have you bought anything yet? I think that triggers it. Back in the day it took two months I think to receive mine, and then they decided to open a new account for me instead of crediting to my exisint Diamond Club account, even though I specified my membership number on the form!

    No I havent spent anything on it! I will try that and see what happens. Looks like patience really will be a virtue for this one!

    Double check the application form or the online page if you can. If I recall, I think I had to spend £20 on mine, but that was 3 years ago.

    There is a spend requirement, however I think it only has be be "a spend", i.e. as low as 1p.

    I got mine within about 14 days of spending on the card, I actually got a letter saying the miles will be credited.
