Is it possible to now cancel RE Home Learning College Course

I have recently signed up for a home learning course with the Home Learning College. After receiving the relevant paperwork and starting the course I realised it was much more difficult than I initially thought and the support I was recieving from the tutors was not enough and not entirely helpful.
When I contacted them to ask where I stood with regards to cancelling the course, they informed me I was a few days outside of the cancellation agreement and was therefore binded to complete the payments of £17.50 a week (for 2 years)regardless of whether I intend to complete or not. The only other option I had was to change for a simpler course (much cheaper) although I would have to continue paying the original amount.
I tried to go through a complaints procedure but havent had any joy and have only managed to speak to customer services.
Do I have any legal rights to cancel now, or do I accept that I have to keep continue paying regardless?

Did you sign a contract, or terms and conditions? Do they have a cancellation clause? It might be worth posting further details.0

As you say the course is too hard, why not take up their offer of a simpler course.
At least get something for your money.0
