!!!!
Well done SS, great news!!!!!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

congratulations - it's always great to hear of someone being successful in this.
I've just totted up all the charges that Lloyds have levied against one of my accounts, and in the six years it amounts to £3,239. No wonder I'm in the flipping mess I'm in! The snowball effect has been the worst aspect of it. I'm definitely going after them.
I hope you do treat yourself to something that you wouldn't have had otherwise, as well as being sensible with it.
Could you make Capital One a "full and final" settlement offer that's less than your outstanding balance? (I've only just really started on these forums, so I'm not aware of your full circumstances.)
Well done, again!0 -

WELL done thats fantastic news!!
the banks should take note and definatly reduce the amount they charge, its ridiculous!
Capital one and barclaycard now have lowered their charges to £12, the banks should do the same.
Although saying that £12 is still no reflection on what it actually costs to bounce a DD,etc.
best wishes Mate!Abbey Loan £6,000
