Getting Worried

I left my job in Feb [handed in notice] just not getting on and generally feeling unhappy. At the time thought it was the right thing to do.

Applied for JSA but was told I may not get any money, so figured I would not claim..

Been looking for work but no offers yet so starting to get worried.

Had help from family and friends but I am slowly getting into more debt.

Very ashamed and depressed at the moment as I do not know where to turn

Any advice to help me in the short would be grateful

Kev

As far as I am aware, from reading on here, you should put in a claim. Even though you wouldn't get money right away, (sanctioned for resigning) you should still claim, as your sanction period starts from when you apply. If you apply today, your sanction will start today - but the sooner you get your application in the sooner you will receive some financial help if you haven't been able to find other employment.
