Car Insurance
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I bought a new car on 7th May, special edition, & as it doesn't appear on most "lists" it's been almost impossible to insure. I think it's insured now tho' policy still says 3 dr despite me telling them over & over it's a 5 dr car. My old insurers won't insure car at all, therefore I have just lost 8 mths worth of insurance (their cancellation charge is more than the rebate!!) Can anyone tell me why it should be such a hassle? The car has sat in the drive ever since the free weeks insurance it came with ran out! Cost to reinsure with them prohibitive. Just pd £200 to broker as getting nowhere on my own.

The Allure range has only just been released - insurance databases probably haven't been updated.0

Try Aviva (Either direct or through a broker) they have a specialist department whom the people doing your quote can speak to, they will have the data on new cars and can allocate a grouping (For Aviva use only) and give you a quote.0
