Motivated Mon 7th June - daily chat thread

I'll be quick before someone double posts. :D

I've got a counselling appointment at 10, the last before the summer hols (eeek! ) then the rest of the day I'll be essay writing and sorting out boxes. I might take the time to walk into town and look for a book off BookCrossing.com, depends on the weather.

So, what's everyone else got planned?

    Morning all

    Welcome to Monday.

Every single day of the half term holidays I've been wide awake at 5.30am...this morning I had to drag myself out of bed at 6.30...typical!

Off for a nice long walk this morning, will be taking a picnic and a book and plonking somewhere quiet for an hour or so (depending on how DH feels).

    Money wise..
    • Take back a top for refund
    • Sort/wash/iron/photograph 5 bits for ebay (to list later in week)
    • Take contents of "small change" jar into the bank - £12 odd :j
    • Make a complete inventory of the freezer/cupboards and put an in order to see me through the month, spending as little as poss.
    What's everyone else up to?

My day shall mostly involve around NOT doing any cleaning. Much like every other day then really!

    Morning, morning.

One of those days, I'm afraid: I realised last night that I probably wouldn't work nearly as much as I do now, if I only had to pay for one house instead of two :rotfl:

Feeling a bit down, and the rain doesn't help. Back to the millstone...

Morning...yawn have been up since 5am doing a job application and am now sat at work thinking what the hell am I doing here. I feel a bit rough tbh, was awake all night with hot and cold sweats and this morning I feel dizzy and light headed.

Not much else planned for the day, finishing work at 1pm then need to go to tesco, blitz the house and deal with the ant infestation (again) and maybe go to bed for an hour, pick B up 3:30. Tonight I shall be having an early night...

    Morning!

DS actually fell asleep at about 11.30 last night so not to be-must have been dead tired, bless him.

Today, I plan on being a good employee and making lots of calls and getting lots of appointments.

I have 3 Cambridge clients today as well which is good :)

    morning all,

well me i am feeling sorry for myself as i am sure i have a cold, either that or the worst heyfever i have ever had, although i am going with the cold idea so am drugged up to the eye balls at work thankfully no one is currently close to me as everyone is either on leave or at meetings so they cant blaim me for passing on my germs

other than that, feeling a little strange, Wife's ex-husband phoned up last night, his partner (whom he had the affair with) has decided she is going to live in America somewhere close to her mum, but he is staying here in the UK so in effect they are splitting up, although he says they are going to try and make it work long distance i think thats more a case of putting on a brave face, my wife says its just so shes got a willy availible if she comes back to the UK for any reason.

anyways just feeling a bit weird as both my step children are happy she is leaving and to be honest i have been saying for a while he would be so much better off if she left him, just really worried how this is going to affect them as the oldest (DSS) is just about to do his A level exams
