3d home design software

...anything out there that's super easy to use? I'm pretty computer savvy, just want something that's quick and easy(ish) to flesh out some proposed plans in 3d - having probs visualising the whole thing!

Cheers,

Have a look at Room Arranger: http://www.roomarranger.com/

    and Floor Planner: http://www.floorplanner.com/

Room Arranger is free for a short period and I have been using a registered version for years,, pretty easy to use.

Floor Planner is flash based and all done on line and the results are pretty impressive. It's also free for a single user.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Sweet Home 3D is fantastic, there are loads of bit's to add to the room and really easy to use. It does 3d and 2d models and you can "walk through" your design too. Free forever too.

I'm going to suggest Google Sketchup - free to use, easy to model in. If you combine it with a 3rd party rendering system eg indigo renderer then you can get photo realistic results.

Basic unfinished example I did as a test:

You'd never know that was a sketchup model, dead easy to use. Love it.

Thanks all!! Loved floorplanner personally but google sketchup looks the nuts too .. didn't seem immediately intuitive to use but I'll give it another go, thanks!!
