Tesco Express Overcharging

For goodness sake! This is a venting board!!!! Let people be. It may be trivial to you but to others it is a big deal. Even if it isn't, why belittle someone and their opinion?? Does it make you feel better about yourself? Try being nicer. I wouldn't mind but some of the advice from certain people on other matters is really helpful. Why they feel the need to then go on another thread and be argumentative I really don't know.:A

If its venting board then we can vent over ppl venting0

That may be true but there is a way of doing it so it doesn't come across as rude.:A

While it isn't really an excuse, and the training should have been better, the store that you are talking about is only open just over 1 week. There are maybe some issues to resolve, and while you've been inconvienienced by it, it will get better as it they get more experienced.
Don't worry they'll get more experienced and overcharge everyone on everything!0 -

perhaps you should just check your receipt...shelf end label....and if you've been overcharged ask for "double the difference" as per Tescos own policy...perhaps then they will start to take notice when they have to explain how much cash they hand out....keep your eyes peeled....there's great savings to be made at Tesco's expense.I'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j
Those who can do, those who can't, come to me for lessons:cool:0 -
The fact is if you are on a budget like Iam then a few pence adds up over time. Try living within your means without credit and you will see what I mean.0

I have the same problem with my local tesco, they often overcharge, and when it is queried they make me feel like a nusiance! I don't mind the odd occasion, but it is every time I go, and the other day taco shells, for instance, were marked at 99p on the shelf, but came up on the till as £2.99!0

we love tesco,my son bought a notebook computer thingy[correct technical term i believe!].when he got home he realised it was the higher spec one than he had been charged.he did query the price instore before he bought it as there wasnt a price on shelf and they had to call a manager to sort it.i think it was about £120 cheaper than it should be.i shop online at tesco and the lenor was 25p last week instead of £2.00 so stocked up.lol.so mistakes are made both ways.lol!Shine on you crazy diamond..............0
