Hi we are looking to change hubbies car in the next few months, would like to lease over a 3 year period, does anyone have any recommendations for companies that can arrange this or are we better to go with a garage/manufacturer scheme? Thanks

i am leasing an audi tt roadster with lings cars very very good service both befor and afterwards
she even managed to get me back money that the previousl lease company tired to rip me of to the tune of 700 pounds
www.smartlease.co.uk are good as well have leased from them
with leasing the trick to getting a good deal is not to be overly fussy on colour /spec ect
what i mean is when i wanted my car i was not bothered on colour and interior and certain spec if had been it would have been a few hundred pounds more
so get a few cars that you like /suitable and take what is availible if you want a good deal its when you start specifying certain colours interior ect also look at cars just coming out on the market as the manuafactors want them out on the road ( FREE ADVERTISING FOR THEM) and they can often be a bit cheaper me and my husband have leased for 6 years and had no probs just make suer that when it goes back take lots of photos /videos of the condition of it as some companies (lombard in particular try it on and say there is damage but the cars go straight to auction so its hard to prove otherwise unless you have photos /videos of the car on teh day of return ( This is a common practice and happend to me last year)
i leased a mazda mx5 for 169a month for two years and 400 down from smartlease which was i thought a good deal cos every wehre else was quoting 250 - 300 a monthLingscars.com gets very good reports, don't be put off by her website.0 -
a few of things to bear in mind with leases.
1) leases only work if you do low mileage and replace your car regularly.
2) VAT is added to the lease so if you sign up now and it goes up to 20% or more your car cost could rise unexpectedly.
3) cars with low depreciation tend to be the best deals.0 -
I also heard good reports from Lingscars but her website is very difficult to navigate and understand. I came across other websites that compare car leasing prices that are better. I also used a good broker who seems to have very competitive prices. They are called MVM and their number is: 0845 1204948.
You're better off comparing on the net or through a broker before going to a dealer because you might find special offers on cars that you didn't think you could afford!
Hope this helps.0 -

5) Unpopular cars being discounted by the manufacturer tend to offer the best deals0 -
