Incapacity benefit question

Hi there
I have a tricky question that I cant seem to find the answer to online. I currently receive incapacity benefit and DLA for an illness. However I have been offered a place of a training course specifically for disabled people, which I'm interested in giving a go. It is funded by skillset and there is a bursary of £500 plus expenses. Does anyone know what would happen benefits wise?
Many thanks

As far as I am aware it will have no effect on your benefits.
Do you actually receive IB or do you get IS on account of it?0 -
I receive incapacity benefit. I thought that it would effect because the bursary counted as income/earning? Also if I am doing training they may conclude that I am well enough to work.MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

No, if its actually IB that you are getting then you can do the training as far as I am concerned, at least its that way on ESA(C).0

You would need to advise the DWP you were doing this and it is possible it could trigger a review of your benefit.0
