    Morning all.
Firstly, before I forget to say it, Happy Birthday to Kezlou's OH and to Mummyslittleboy's DD1.

Then got a reiki session this afternoon.
Ooh, I'm jealous!:o A neighbour used to do reiki for me when I lived in Oxon, and it was marvellous. Sadly now I a) don't know anyone locally that does it, b) can't afford it and c) couldn't get there even if a) and b) weren't an issue.:(

Have put the BM on for dough to make bread rolls, and constructed a quiche for today's lunch (and tomorrow night's dins, as Mr LW will be home late tomorrow). He's working from home, on early shift today, so we'll be off to Tesco at 14:30. Oh joy! *rolleyes*

I'm planning on a HHC 10:15 to 10:45 to get to grips with the bathroom, if anyone wants to join in.:)

Don't get me started on the sustainability issues of an economy based on consumerism... it's probably not what ANYONE needs at this time in the morning!

    I do :D

Just waiting for my yeast to be ready to get the bread made and then I need to:

    [STRIKE]Bake chocolate cake[/STRIKE]

This afternoon I have invigilating and then DS3 has his first cricket match of the season. He's not been able to play until now because of his broken elbow so if anybody can pray for no rain until it's over he'd appreciate it as he is so excited.

That's what I like about this thread... there's always someone else equally strange around :p:p

Sports massage again this morning. It hurt and I'm tired :o. I know it's good for me but I find it hard work and exhausting. I now need to get my brain going again so I can do some work...

But where are we going to put them? The planet is full already... and that does mean that you've got enough to cover you, OH & KH... so that looks like being your ration :p:p

the planet is nowhere near full.. it is just overly exploited with those in a few countries wasting too much and taking too much with no sustainability going on
:T:T:T It's got to cost more to raise a child, than that child will pay back into pensions for the rest of us

Apparently not.. given what is received by parents NOW in terms of tax payers money.. given inflation and increases in pay/cost of living, improvements in sustainability etc. it will be more than made up by the adults in employment in 50 years time paying taxes.

What they will probably end up doing is cloning a 'primitive' work force to increase sustainability.. not accept them as 'human beings' and call it Bransholme exploit them as a renewal source of worker. These will be theones producing food etc with unacceptable working conditions in order to provide resources for the rest of us.

and now I have recovered enough to walk.. I am mooching off round to my mothers... OH has a wing mirror to play with..

    Morning all flyers,
My dearest daughter has sat on some tar and then sat on my lovely white plastic stool in my lovley new kitchen , any ideas how to get the tar off? Wouldn't mind but she was wearing a brand new oair of shorts straight out of the bag and hadn't even been outside before she sat down! Sometimes dirt just seems to leap on to children doesn't it....
Thanks in advance for any help
