Hi, I have a Macbook and have no trouble opening short family movies eMailed to us in .mov However when I sent some to our daughter she said she couldn't open them on her PC and they need to be in .wmv or mpeg
So how do I change them to this before sending?

Ask your daughter to download and install the VLC Media Player. No need to convert the files, as the player can decode them.

That is absolutely correct VLC is very good and she could also download QuickTime which is free.
If you want to convert to wmv there is a cheap program with a trial called i sky soft, I use this all the time.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
