Problems with Pipex

Pipex were once a good company. They were then taken over by Tiscali & surprise surprise became an abysmal company.

I tried them on a 28 days trial - staisfaction or your money back - wasn't satisified & cancelled but have never seen my money back despite writing several times. Apathy then got the better of me so they ended up £29.99 to the good but with no hope of me ever using either of them again.

Now I read Talk Talk have bought them - no better - just look at the English in the above - written by an Indian call centre operative perhaps?

Tell the above poster by PM that you'd like their name, position & contact & they have your permission to talk to Pipex in order to sort this out - and that if they fail to do so within whatever period you consider reasonable Talk Talk will also be losing your business when any contract expires.

If you had cancelled the contract with Pipex before the money was taken could your bank "charge back" the direct debit which shouldn't have been taken & also then refund your fee? Either way cancel the DDI at the bank to stop any further possible deductions. As for the letters chasing money you don't owe if your confident this is the case write once more stating your dispute & then forget about it - if they take you to court over money you don't owe they lose not you!
