Change of subject, I know some of you might think, who is this Army Barmy Geezer who keeps telling stories about what he and his mates got up to? Well as we used to say in an emergency radio message NO DUFF, REAL TIME, meaning what we were about to announce was geniune. Lord Hooray is not well, I am disgusted with how he is being treated. I just have to have a rant, but I will do it off line. He may be landed, he may be a product of his upbringing, but he is still a person and the handy's are going to stick theire necks out to see he is treated with respect.

Part 1 of rant over, if anyone thinks I should rant elswhere please let me know, I understand that this tread is for purposes other than my blowing off.

Rant away, we're here to listen and sympathise as required. And good for you for treating Lord Hooray with respect - no one would really blame you if you didn't - the fact that you and Mrs H are prepared to do that shows what special people you both are.

Hi Spoon, thanks for the kind words much appreciated. I used to say my politics were to the right of Gengis Khan, but much as sometimes I get on with Lady H, I cant agree with her present attitude. A Mans a Man for all that. I'm thinking of going communist so I can string her up come the revolution.

Didnt mean that realy, but handy is mad:mad: I prob wont get it done tonight but I have a few things to say to Erme, dont worry its not bad and I respect you Erme. ( I might be scared of you, I think you might be my intellectual superior) now thats an admission!

I take my hat off to you and Mrs Handy for your support of Lord Hooray - I realise that your ranting is generally, if not always, against Lady Hooray, and I also suspect that she and the family are the ones not giving Lord Hooray any respect now he is in this position - I think everyone deserves to maintain their dignity when their health has deteriorated to this point. When a person loses some of their faculties and control of bodily functions, etc, I think that loss of dignity is the worst part about it. And when some people no longer give them any respect because of a situation they have no control over, it really makes me mad too. Lord Hooray deserves respect and his dignity to be maintained, as that really is all he has left. Lord Hooray is very lucky to have the both of you looking out for him.

So, Handy, rant away - this forum and this thread is not just about money saving and debt, it is a place to express ourselves too. As I say, if you can't rant here, where can you rant!!!



And with that, I am off to my bed - another early (for me) start tomorrow as we are going to the auction in town 'cause we saw a few bits there today when we called in to view
