Good afternoon all, have just had tinned salmon in home made bread rolls for lunch, luvverly! Spent a fortune in Tatco but lots of bargains on things I normally buy, plus a few treats as well (am in a mood for treats right now!).

OH rang from work earlier to check if I had his latest shifts on the calendar - sounded almost normal on the phone! Mind you, he probably had someone right next to him ( oh cynical me!).

Just to let you know I have commenced a diary on the diaries section to unload all the stuff going on so as to help me get my head straight and not to clog up this thread or others with my problems.

Anyway, must go and see if chickens have laid anything today - back later.

Nargle - A few treats never hurt anybody;). I don't know anything about chickens (except how to cook them:o:o) can they lay eggs everyday? It must be great having freshly laid aggs.

Spoon - I am planning to make some raspberry jam at the weekend, got a couple of friends who want some, might even drive out to kent and take my GD with me and go fruit picking, will have to have a look and see whats ready for picking at the moment.

Both chickens laid every day just about last year, as it was their first year. This year one chicken lays about 6 out of 7 days, the other about 2 or 3 out of 7. I think she might have just finished her moulting season so egg production should pick up, hopefully!

    Hi Everyone :hello:

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

    What is a Troll?
A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made. If you should get such a comment made on any thread you post, asking for help and advice, please realise this comment is not directed at you personally so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal because the majority of us really are a lovely bunch – ooops, modesty!

What should I do if I get a comment made on my thread?
Firstly do not respond to the comment as this is invariably what the troll wants. So to get rid of the offending post, at the bottom of the post towards the right hand side you’ll see a red "Warning" triangle within a blue “Abuse” icon, as shown below:

    report.gif

Click the icon and then "send" the message which will inform the abuse team of the post, who will then review its content and deal with it as appropriate; sometimes even deleting the troll by making their status PPR’d (Posting Privileges Removed). Remember, this site is an asset to so many people, especially those that feels like their world is falling in around them. There is a wealth of knowledgeable people here all willing to help, whatever you do, do not let the comments of one silly individual deter you from availing yourself of the knowledge base that is on offer here.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE FORUM

It is testament to the work that Martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time, knowledge and experience freely to others; without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of their debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT

I didn't use Nid's image -I just quote from first post on thread usually but I will look at copying Nid's when I get round to it!!

By the way, when you asked about "not enough words" message in a previous post today, when you quote into a new post, you have to add something, they won't just let you just quote and leave it at that - I usually add 'New page so time for another one of these' to the top and that does the trick

How are you today Erme - and by the way, I'm a chappess not a chappie, in cases you had not picked it up yet :rotfl:
