Good evening everyone! Back from Snoozeville USA this afternoon, have just enjoyed home made breaded chicken and chips and am now chilling out with a caffeine infusion. Off tonight, but night shift tomorrow night.
3Dogs - hope woofers are ok. Probably had a mega sulk when you swanned off to Jockinese land and left them in kennels - our cat Albert was a bit huffy with us when we left him in a moggery for 3 days over New Year, so Gawd knows what he will be like when we come back from a week's hols later this month - probably standing there with his paws on his hips muttering "Where the chuffing hell do you think you've been, then!" Trouble is it is a bit of an imposition asking someone to come into your home every day to sort out your animals, and at least you know they are safe and being cared for. And of course plenty of excuse for some serious spoiling (guilt presents etc) when you come back!
Hope everyone ok, see you all in a virtual sense later. One life - your life - live it!0 -
Fred was just about to slip off page 1 - naughty boy !!!!
Nargle & Tixy - I have always been happy to put my doggies into kennels where I know they will be happy, secure & well fed - mind you, in our present position, the fees are a problem. Some kennels insist on kennel cough vacinnation others don't - the problem arises when people put their dogs into kennels already with kennel cough - it is so contagious it goes right through the whole lot. Having said that, I think ours have settled down now - probably a mild dose - but I do think it was kennel cough as I have seen it before (the rasping & white phlegm ). I only once left a neighbour looking after the dog I had then, and worried about her all the holiday - when you don't have dogs yourself you don't take as much notice of open doors, etc. I believe that making provisions for your pets when on holiday, etc is part of being a responsible pet owner. Our doggies have always been happy to go into kennels but happy to come home to home comforts too I might addMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

I know the feeling BL, though I have the best of both worlds as I getty my doggy fix every other weekend at my part-time job and when I get the time to visit to folks.
This is way past my laptop curfew so I best disappear before either of us turn into pumpkins! Night all.Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55
