Message from Niddy, "DD still in intensive care & will be for the foreseeable future by the looks of it.... poor kiddo needs a hug but we can't even get that close to oblige(boo hoo). However signs of improvement continue. Lot's of physio's & druggy type people popping in to reduce epidural etc so presuming she will be off that soon enough (back on morphine)."

Thanks for the update Swany, I was going to pop round next door to see if I could get news. Poor Family Niddy. My thoughts are with them, they must be besides themselves. I know what it's like to have a family member in ITU. I have everything crossed for them.

Handy - great news about MIL, Mrs H must be so relieved. Brilliant to know the NHS/social services aren't full of "jobsworths"

Really pleased your Dad is doing so well, that must be a huge relief. Glad you got the kittens rehomed as well, that must be a weight off your mind.

News... 3Dogs is off on a brilliant surprise holiday, Numpty is on hols at the moment, Tixy hasn't quite finished her kitchen yet -work in progress I think it's called:D. Niddy you know about, he's still around, there's a link to his new thread on his profile, not on MSE any longer though. Rest of us are still here, bashing and zapping the trolls and spammers and chatting about nothing in particular while doing that. Geebee is an ace at providing morning coffee, elevenses and afternoon tea so we get lots of virtual calories all day as well:D

Hi all, Geebee I must find a picture of Sapper (chocy Lab - Dad, Amber Yellow Lab - Mum and Flash Black Lab - Son) and post it up.

Different colour Labs = Different Personalities.
Imagine a fell side with a Dry Stone wall Running across.
Sapper would walk (not run ) along the wall till he found a gap or a gate.
Amber would leap the wall, no matter how high.
Flash would head butt it, make a big hole and look at you as if to say "Did oi do thart".

I did train Amber to bark on command, useful when Burglars about.
On the Command Stand To, Flash will become alert and the fur on his back stands up.

Some doorstep sellers tried to force their way in one day. Mrs Handy was on her own. Sapper came round and sat in front of her with his nose in the guys crutch. Flash shot round the back and took the A@@@e out of his jeans. They had to jump the gate, Flash in hot pursuit. Mrs H called the police just in case of a complaint.

The village bobby was in the sitting room, cup of tea in hand, Labrador leaning against each leg. When Mrs H told him the story and gave him the missing piece of the jeans, he laughed and said what dogs I can't see any.:rotfl:
