Cards are nice but so expensive for what they are. The meal out will provide you with memories which count for more than anything else.
He doesent have to buy a card!! card crafting is a hobby of mine and I use the disc's,he only had to pick 1 and print it off whilst I was at work, but I am going to enjoy the meal, like you say it's memories that count.

    Hello everyone :hello:

I'm back in sultry London again. Had a nice break and chilled out a bit, drank FAR too much wine so am feeling a bit cream crackered as it all catches up with you doesn't it. Think I need to detox!

Hope you have all been well. Been catching up - loads of pages to read!

Handy - Sorry about MIL hope you get everything sorted out the way you want it.

Allie - any news on the job?

Well just a quick visit from me tonight as I have a few other things I need to sort before tomorrow, enjoy the rest of your evening.
I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

Hi Washer, good to see you back, how are things?

Quick bump from me, back for the late shift

Everything is going very well, thank you for asking SS.

I am on school holidays, hence posting today.

All Kittens are rehomed now, and both my girls are spayed. Dad is doing very well after his implant treatment for prostate cancer, much better than I thought.

Have I missed any news? I haven't read the thread for ages, I know about Niddy, I did read that somewhere, I do hope mouseann managed to find him, he is one heck of a chap doing what he does, I wish he would come back..

I hope you are well SS and I hope everyone else is doing well. (Tixy, did you finish your kitchen).

    WASHER.x.

Hi all, busy busy day. Just got back from the Hall, Murphey's Law when a refrigerator is full of fresh food, It will break down. Luckily I have a Handy tool kit for fixing such emergency's.

It seems while handy's been AWOL that the rest of the team has had one heck of a busy day, Sorry I was not there to share it with you.:o

Geebee, where did you get the picture of Flash, Handy's black Lab (sappers son, who lives with D step D).

TERRIFIC NEWS ON THE MIL FRONT.

The district nurse has pulled out all the stops, a private company contracting to the NHS and Social services are going to provide 7 day 24 hour nursing care. This means that she can live in her own bungalow as if she was in a Nursing Home. The Manager sounds great, really switched on, he was informed Friday, worked till 3 on Saturday putting the package together. Today he called Mrs Handy to tell her what was on offer and that he has already received Full Funding Authorisation:j:j:T:j:):A:A

His has restored my faith in some Health Care Officials, there are still some out there who care about the Job and People, rather than fancy job titles and counting paper clips.

Mrs Handy will stay on for @ a week to ensure a smooth handover, It is one massive relief to both of us. The last thing we expected and out of the blue as well. As Mrs Handy said, it almost seems to good to be true?

    Cheers all, handy.
