I am going to a mates house tonight. He had his van & his wifes car stolen off the drive last night. They broke into the house, stole the keys then the motors all while they were sleeping there.:mad::mad::mad: The van has been found but has been torched, so not a great start to the weekend for them.

That's dreadful, swanfan, I'm so sorry to hear that. Hope your friend and his wife are both OK, though they must be shocked by what happened. It must be worse because they were both in the house at the time.

Thanks, i will find out more tonight. I have spoken to them on the phone twice today & they seem ok.

Hi all, handy checking in. Just finished loading car for tomorrows boots sale. Not been around much today, work to do at big house. Numerous phone calls to see how Mrs Handy is doing. Shopping and Slogguious Domesticus.

Only just sat down. Coffee now, first cup since 10 this morning and I have managed to stay awake!:)

Awful!!!!!!!!

my sister had her nicked that way but luckily not torched but was used in robbery - car was never the same they couldn't wait to get rid of it.

:eek: and they were in the house all the time??..... that would really freak me out. Thats a terrible thing to happen, really sorry for them.
