Evening everyone :hello:

Sorry I left a bit abruptly last night, I was halfway through typing a post when we had a power cut which lasted 'til this evening, the second one in as many weeks and about the 7th in the last year! Surprising how totally boring it is with no TV and I couldn't even do any washing or anything so just sat for hours playing the DS. The worst thing this morning was that I had forgotten the lifts weren't working, obviously, and I had to walk up 8 floors:eek: How unfit am I:o

Good evening all, the day got off to a great start. I had a nice letter from my DCA, stating that my alledged debt was in there opinion Statute Barred. I've allready thanked Niddy. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=33647919&postcount=3858

Isnt it allways the same, when things go right someone allways comes along to P1$$ on your bonfire. Cos the post came early, I was late walking my dogs, I'm supposed to start a 9. But I allways have to put an appearance in at Hooray Hall for 8.30 even if no ones up. I have to take out the rubbish, walk the Hoorays dogs, bring in the logs (in cold weather) and remove all the empty bottles.

At 9 Lady H was knocking on handys door demanding to know why I was late? Then a list of make work jobs like you wouldnt believe.

Handy is getting ready to blow, and it wont be pretty. I could say that I know what her problem is. Edward Smallworth is on Holiday and because of his Lordships accident she couldnt go. I wont go further, you can figure the rest yourselves.
(Diplomatic Eh).

Anyway to all my mates here on NTN 7 (got it right this time) the virtual beers are on me:beer:.

Good news Handy about the statute barred debt - sorry your day started off a bit carp - don't let Lady Hooray get to you you're a better person than she'll ever be;)

When doing an Army first Aid Course, I was failed. We had been sent out of the classroom for a break. There was an allmighty Crash. (the bonnet on a Land Rover Slammed shut). When we looked (realistic scenario) there was what looked like a Land Rover smashed into the front of a 4 ton lorry. Lying on the bonnet was Pete Metcalfe, (the Squadron Alky). Handys first remark was overheard. Leave him till last, looks like he's Pished again.

Metcalf was asked to leave the Army when caught coming out of a pub in uniform at 11 am on a sunday morning by an RAF Group Captain. When asked for his ID card he replied "I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours, Big Boy!":rotfl:
