There goes my perfect kitchen table

Whats the table like and whereabouts in Scotland.
Don't know if I can help but I may be able to think of something.

Its a round kitchen table, about 1m diameter but its in far scotland, somewhere in aberdeenshire. Don't know more details than that as obviously haven't been able to bid for it on ebay. Hadn't even checked if seller would accept it being collected by courier cos when I started to look up prices I think its too costly.
Why is it whatever you want to buy on ebay is never where you are - last large thing I wanted was down in devon. Never seems to be anything I want midlands/yorkshire or anywhere reasonable. Ho hum.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

Hi Tixy, that's shame if it had have been in Angus I would have got Maggot to pick it up. There's always someone in the old boys network coming and going. Devon and Dorset or anywhere on the M5 corridor, if it will go on a roof rack handy can collect. I go by your way at least twice a month. I worked out of Bulwell and Long Eaton for @ 10 years.
We have a Harvey's clearance shop near us. The prices vary wildly but sometimes there are bargains to be had. Last year we got brand new / unmarked a 1.3m round Oak table that has build in leaves to extend to 2.5m for £80.00.
Can I interest you in a square victorian wind open table 3x3 opens to 3 x9
Its in my shed under a coat of dust.

Cheers for the thought handy:A. I have resigned myself to not having it. It might go for more than I would want to pay in the end anyway.
It was just what I wanted though, would have been great in my kitchen. Something will come up in the end nearer to me no doubt, I'll just keep searching on ebay and places.
And besides its not like I've got my kitchen done yet, I have bits of kitchen stuff all over the house waiting to be fitted.:oA smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

Hiya Numpty Mate. How are you?
Our local Harvey's are not always that cheap, and sometimes what they try to sell as shop soiled is only fit for skip fodder. Then every so often they let go a Gem. We got a £1500 corner suite for £400. Soon after a brand new unmarked leather armchair for £50. The last time we went in they were charging almost as much as the high street branches.
Having fun with the DCA's perhaps you could record the conversations and post on the net so we can listen in and all have a good laugh.
Your one Monkey that they won't get the better of.
