Well, Folks I did it. I have put out a global post, lets hope it does some good. We will never stop the roaming D!ck Head, but let's try to hunt out the professional troll.

I will stay on thread for a short while longer tonight, I am mentally and emotionally exhausted, with the other things going on in my life at the moment. I don't want sympathy, In the dictionary it comes between !!!!!! and Syphalis.

But come the morrow, I'll be back.

I once had to see an Army Trick Cycle'ist, he said Handy you have a John Wayne complex. I asked him to explain, he said you feel the need to clean up every town you ride into.

I thought for a minute the replied, I think I'm more like Army toilet paper, Smooth as Glass on one side, Rough as Sand Paper on the other, and I don't take !!!!!! from anyone.

I got passed fit for duty.

Ok, so I spend half my life on here, and I might as well do some good. So how do you go about troll hunting? If I come across one I follow them around reporting their posts, but are there any hotspots to find them in the first place? I use a webmail service so it's been hard for me to report in the past but I believe that's been sorted now?

So, an idiot's guide to troll hunting would be great.

Hi Ames, I'm not the best person to ask, but if you hang around here for a while one of the old hands will give you some tips. When I was a newbie about 5 mins ago or so it seems I was amazed when someone was as I thought mildly abusive. (handy gets abused daily by pro's) at how fast the post and the person making it was evaporated.

For me the world has been a nicer place since meeting the folks on here. I want to keep it that way for all those and there will be lots more soon who need the support and advice of DFW.

The thread will go on with it's merry (or otherwise) band of trollzappers, spambusters and Fred bumpers but this matter of Niddy being bombarded by abusive posts and PM's is what the thread is all about - the effect that these trolls have and the need to report them as soon as we can
