Pinched this from If Wishes - I couldn't resist bringing them over here - altogether now - ahhhhhhhhhhh

Hubbie has been out all day but I couldn't say where he had been till now .................... If he had won I still couldn't have told you till next month .................... but he didn't so I can ..................

    Does that make sense?

You know how he has lost 7 1/2 stones with Slimm*ng W*rld - well he got through the Regionals of their Man of the Year and was at their HQ today for semi-finals and finals - but he did not get through to the final 12 as they had more interesting stories and had lost more. He did very well though and I am very proud of him and he got to meet Peter Shilton (who incidentally still holds a grudge against Maradonna for the Hand of God goal) so he came home happy and very tired as it was a long day

Hi Spoon, 3Dogs, handy here. Lappy is running like a rolls now. I am still setting up as it had to go back to factory settings. It has just downloaded 21/2 years of windows updates.

I ended up going to pc world, I cant fault the one in Yeoville, £20 and turned round in 24 hours. If I was the type to take offence it would be the young female manager. When handy said I needed to get up to speed again with the finer points of windows Vista, she said they had some very good books for the more senior user.
Do I really look and sound like a fossil.

Get ready for some ranting tomorrow, Lady H wants me to go to an auction house up in oxford to look at some decrepid garden bench.
Take Mrs Handy with you she said, it will be a nice day out for you both. Then on saturday morning Mrs Handy overheard her on the phone arranging to show the new part time carer and unemployed boyfreind around our cottage. That's why she wants us out of the way. That's us no job no house, she's the most underhanded B""ch that ever drew breath. We are not on notice (yet) or have given notice, even though I'm sorely tempted at times.
I think she's scared we will keep the old fellow alive or out of a home for too long.

    This is NO DUFF.

Saturday lunchtime, I could here her from an open window, and I was 50 yds away, "look at you, you can't even stand up or stop dribbleing", then it almost sounded like she had hit him.

I thought don't interfere, then S*d it and I went up to the hall. She was upstairs somwhere, Lord Hooray was in the sitting room. It turned out his P bag had leaked, He doesnt need one, Mrs Handy refused to put it on for him earlyer that morning. He tried to cover for Lady H by telling me that it must have been my wife ( Ex Nursing Sister) that didnt fit it correctly.

It is getting worse, If the respective familys were what we call normal, the handy would whistle blow, the old fellow would be better of in a home than suffering this abuse.

I have a self destructive nature, when faced by overwhelming odds, I will try to take as many of the bag guys with me as I can.

If Lady H is planning what I think she is? then I dont plan to make life easy for any of them.

    Watch this space!

    Cheers all.

That's brilliant, 3Dogs, to get to the semi-finals is one heck of an achievement, you must be very proud of him

And yes, ahhhhhh indeed, they are very cute

Update on the bargains we got from auction on Saturday - a lovely solid wood chest of drawers for £3, and a pair of glazed narrow doors which will do in our hall instead of the [STRIKE]child[/STRIKE] dog gate we have now

I'm off to bed now - so goodnight Spoon and Handy

P.S. just caught your post Handy - awfull just awfull for you and Mrs H - what will you do if she did give you notice? It sounds terrible for Lord Hooray as well - poor old man

Catch up with you tomorrow - take care

    Handy,
that's awful, she really is a complete b*tch...

I really hope she isn't planning what you think she is, for the sake of you and Mrs H, but if she is, you're in an ideal position to make it very difficult for her.

Take care, give us an update tomorrow
