Yeah have spoken to them loads of times and told them it's getting hot, they said it's normal and to move it. I've never noticed it geting hot before and someone on the techie board told me this is common for these routers. I have turned it upside down now so that the vent is facing upwars so we'll see if that works:o it's still quite hot though.

Allie, I'm so sorry you didn't get the job but as others have said there is a much better job waiting for you out there

I've just been talking to the guys on the techie board, Laptop seems to be working ok again but I dont trust it, so I'm off to try a few things. Please keep fingers crossed for handy, I may be gone some time.

Hi 3Dogs, have been trying to report all his posts but am having severe connection probs at the moment, it's driving me crazy. Will keep trying.

Aha I think he's gone!!

I'm going now as this connection trouble is driving me mad, I will be on the fone to 02 tomorrow asking for a new router and if they say no, I will change ISP, this router is extremely hot!!! It worries me that it might catch fire or something!!!!

Before anyone asks, Yes handyman had and still has a 3 1/2 inch floppy.

Hi Numpty, you were right about the techie board guys. They are good I got a responce when I said I had been to PC World :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Still not fully working, but getting closer to a solution.
