NOTICE TO NEWCOMERS - Part 7 !!!!!!!

It's very quiet here tonight but I know a lot of you are night owls. It's freshened up a bit here, a nice breeze so hopefully shouldn't be too bad for sleep tonight, mind you as I live on the 8th floor the breeze can get a bit much sometimes.:)

Sorry I've been quiet BL, I've been out and about on the forum looking at other threads and seeing if i can steal information to apply to my own debts!

I've also put a wash on which should have gone on about 6hrs ago (oops!), made myself a cuppa and been nosing outside at all the happenings - house at the t-junction at the top of the street has a couple in it who are in the middle of a domestic (just shouting so far) they're currently out on the street. luckily it's not just me thats watching, the policeman who lives across the road is also interested so i wonder how long it'll be til his colleagues are round to issue breach of the peace thingies!

never a dull moment!

ps - I'd like to add im nosy but only to make sure that no one is physically injured

Glad to see people holding the fort, still no news on the job allie?
I hear sat & sun are also going to be really warm as well. Perhaps storms on sunday which might freshen the air. Mind you I'm planning on being in several places at once on Sunday so not sure how thats going to work out.

Evening Tixy, sadly no news yet, getting a bit more difficult to keep the negative thoughts away now though we'll see, must stay a bit positive as the guy might have a reason for the delay....he might have been abducted by aliens or might be stuck at the north pole or something...i hear that sort of thing happens all the time?! :rotfl:

Don't give up all hope Allie, you still might hear back. Did they say they would let you know either way or just let you know if you were successful? Is it worth calling them to ask for any news?
Also remember the second choice person is often the last to be told, my friend recently got a job 2weeks after the interview and turns out he was second choice, the first choice turned it down so they went for him instead (okay so its not as great as being first but at least he got the job in the end).

Have been off doing surveys, a whole £6 in vouchers will be coming my way :rotfl:, also wouldn't mind testing either product so hoping I might get selected for that as well.

Tixy, I don't mind if I'm the last choice if it means that I get the job! they said they would let us know either way, I'll keep my fingers crossed, hopefully my situation will turn out like your friend's and I'll hear some good news next week (office is closed over the weekend!)

Just hung the washing up, it was so nice and cold (as it was wet of course!) that i left some t-shirts on my head just to cool my head and neck down, OH walked in and simply said with a straight face "i think they dry better on the clothes horse" then walked out again!
