Rip off window cleaners

my window cleaner has told me to beware of window cleaners who use the water fed pole thing, they try and tell customers that it can take upto 2/3 cleans to get them upto standard because of soap residue, well this he told me is rubbish they can be clean and spotless first time, so don`t let them fob you off with this excuse!

Yet they will try and charge you full price for a half done job!:mad:

Yes they can mine uses pole but uses distilled water mine you he does miss the frames so need manually doing

I tend to do my own downstairs as I prefer to do my own

The whole selling point that some use to get your custom is to say they clean frames as well as glass, yet because the frames look clean they just do the glass, why have clean glass and dirty frames!

I wouldn't use one of the pole cleaners. All that faffing to have water splashed over the place. Oh and the dirty looks you get when you dare to drive over their hose.

My son cleans windows - he will give you a quote. That's him on the right with the red bucket !
He cleans them properly too.........

probably because a health asnd safety risk assessment would need to be done

My window cleaner charges £4, for that I am not interested in how many times he has to clean them, the condition of the water, the detergent used or whether he uses poles or ladders, if the windows are not satisfactorily cleaned, he doesn't get paid, end of.
