Am I on my own here, or am I missing the point completely. I thought these bands are to raise money for charity? Surely if you don't buy one from the charity or a genuine outlet of the charity, isn't this missing the point of buying/having one? By wearing one it's saying that 'I care enough about this cause that I contributed to it'.
It can't be right to profit on the back of what is a very good cause. Wouldn't your money be better spent if it was in the hands of the charity that originated these bands rather than some toerag that wants an extra few quid?
I see requests for these types of bands all the time. I think anyone selling them on for a profit has completely missed the point of having one. I also think it is a disgusting way to profit. Am I the only one that thinks this way about them? How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

I think most people buy batches of these off the main website and then just give them out to friends/family etc. This is what I have done anyway. If people do accept any money, I believe, and would like to think it is donated to the cause.0

Shame to say i very much doubt it some people making alot of money off ebay!!0 -
Sorry, yes, I agree with that. Ebay is rife with that sort of thing. I was thinking of places like online forums in my previous post.0

You almost think that the charitys would be better flooding the market so that ebay scammers don't have a market to exploit0

Why are people stupid enough to buy these off eBay?
Why don't the charities flood the market or limit the number that they will sell to an individual?
You are not telling me that everyone or even a majority of people that wear these are doing so to prove how much they care about the relevant cause. If this was the case no one would buy them other than direct from the charity.
If eBay had any morals or scruples (I am yet to find any) they would not allow these to be sold on their sites other than directly from the charity.0
