  • The only one I know so far is

    Free Real Madrid TV

    On Sky Digital

    Services>System Setup>Add channels>
    Input frequency 11.681
    27.5, 2/3, V

Then go to find channels and store 51147.
It should then be in the other channels menu

update also on this freq....Friendly tv (adult)

can this channel be added to the menu, where you select a channel rather than go to 'other channels'

ive stored it but its a fiddle to go to other channels rather than just browsing it

update also on this freq....Friendly tv (adult)...what do you mean by this
All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.
  • If it's not in the 'menu' (proper name Electronic Programme Guide or EPG) then no you can't add it yourself.

The only way for it to be added is for the broadcaster to pay Sky who control the guide.

Here is a list of all channels on Astra 2A/2B/2D & Eurobird 1 at 28.2°E (the satellites you can receive with a normal Sky dish and Digibox)

Thanks for the list A Nice Englishman. Do you know where I can find out the frequencies for accessing some of these channels through Sky Digital - I think they need to be between 10 and 12 Megahertz to be able to pick them up via the Add Channels option.
  • so if you go on the sky box and press automatically update channel list....will it find these channels?
  • claren - the frequencies are in the list I linked to (first column) eg ITV Play is 10.714 GHz

bargainboyrob - No you have to go into Services, System Setup, Add Channels to add the channels you want using the details in the list. Then you can access them via Services, Other Channels. Sky control what appears in the EPG (the list of channels you see whan you press TV Guide) and you can't change these yourself

I can't remember seeing 'automatically update channel list' on a Sky box. Are you thinking of Freeview?
  • dargh probably...but i do have sky. sounds cool if you can get more channels
  • does this work for freeview ??

I'm a complete technophobe, just been looking at that link posted by A Nice Englishman - I'd love to get RTE and the other Irish channels on my Sky, would that be possible and how would I do it?

    Thanks anyone that can help!

I think that the Real Madrid channel is due to be released onto the normal EPG shortly (was 29th August but dont think it is on there yet). Was going to be subscription but now going to be free to air.
