in Credit cards
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has had any joy in claiming back credit card charges from Capital One...I reckon over the last 6 years they have charged me around a grand! Wouldn't mind it back to be honest!
If anyone has, was it easy, hard, long winded etc??
cheers!

I got charged late payment, so I called and complained and they gave me £10 back as a "goodwill" gesture, the woman on the phone was sooooo rude and offish because I'd missed a payment.
Will BT asap too! But would love to claim back the rest...2009 is the year to get it cleared! Debt Free Date - February 2012

Have you got your statements for the period, if not ask Capital1 for details of the charges (they may charge you for this information, but not very much, it will be worth it) you need to know exactly how much you are claiming back before you start. You can mail them and ask for the return of about a grand in fees.
Finally, good luck and don't give up, if you don't they eventually, inevitably will.If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.
If you do like it please hit the thanks button.0 -
I reclaimed my charges and to be honest it was a lot easier than the other financial institutions I have taken on.
My advice - just do it!
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0
