Did you know Tesco in France is closing, told us in a meeting, when we thought they would cut the staff down, but not close down.
Now they have offered us a redundancy package, most of us have worked there 15 years, they have offered 3 months wages, but we are not allowed any unemployment benefit for the 3 months, what do you think??, send the messages to Sir Terry Leahy, we need help, we are 71 personel, some are couples so they lose a lot, come to the Cit! Europe, tell them how you feel, help us please
thank you

It's no real surprise
Due to a number of factors the booze trip days are passed now and places like Tesco etc and the others will need to seriously consider restructuring their premises in France. Whilst the others are domestic organisations with a sideline; Tesco where set up on that site for mainly these purposes.
As for the unemployment stuff. I wouldnt know what you are legally entitled too but would be surprised if Tesco arent complying. I wont be complaining to Tesco either. I would prefer prices where kept competitive rather than increased to keep sites open that lose money.0 -
Sorry to hear the news of the Tesco Vin Plus closure, and our thoughts are with you all. We travel across 4-5 times a year to the Nord Pas de Calais area on weekend trips, sightseeing small towns and villages (which we love) and doing a spot of shopping on the way back, going over on a Friday and back on a Saturday. We wonder what the impact of this will be on Cit! Europe as a whole? There have been a number of shops closed in the complex for some time, and with Tesco closing, then there may be even less interest in the complex for a number of Brits, which in turn may result in more closures, which in turn results in even less interest, which results in more closers etc. Whilst we have all been ‘struggling’ financially in the downturn, and the strength of the euro has certainly not helped, I would have expected the complexes to support the shops during these hard times, and see what happens when we come out the other side.
Good luck.2 Separate arrays, 7 x JASolar 380w panels (2.66kWp) south facing, 4 x JASolar 380w panels (1.52kWp) east facing, 11 x Tigo optimizers & cloud, Growatt SPH5000, Growatt 6.5kWh Hybrid battery (Go-live 01/12/21) - Additional reporting via Solar Assistant.0
