Vaccines, yes. Flea treatment and worming Im a bit lax on, but they do get done - just not as religiously as the companies would have you do them.

Not had a problem yet - though I know it could easily start.

Vaccines - yes, but probably only because he goes to kennels when we go away and they insist.
Flea & worming - not as regularly as I should probably, My sister bulk orders them for her lot (she breeds & shows) so I wait till I go round to her house and then nick some of hers. But luckily we've never had a problem with little critters like that.

Vaccines yes. Worm tablets yes... although I'm sure I missed a few. Fleas... only in the summer (or if he went to the cattery), and then mainly to keep the sheep ticks off.
  • Have been a bit lax in past with vaccinations when I was very sort of money but all up to date now as are flea treatments as I have a horror of the things. However, getting woming stuff into a semi-feral cat is almost impossible so I have to ask the vet to do it when Lita goes for jabs etc.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

Dogs yes as they go into kennels, but the cats no. We have 5 and have had these numbers for the last 20 odd years and have never lost one to any of the diseases you vaccinate against.

We do all the flea treatments pretty regularly though.

Google it, most recent reviews on pet care say boosters are a waste of time and money.

I keep the kitties' vaccinations up to date, mostly because I know that other people don't bother with them which therefore puts my cats at risk when they go out. OK, so only one of them goes out every day... but you never know what might happen and it would be a nightmare if a cattery turned them away in an emergency.

Regards worming and flea treatments I really only bother with the cat who goes out regularly as he's at risk of picking up a parasite. There is a new liquid worming treatment available now which is applied to the back of the neck - it's called Profender Spot On which is so much safer than trying to shove a tablet down an angry cat's neck.

Nah I don't because they don't go outside, if I ever had to put them in kennals or they were going outside I would though.

Our mogs get a monthly dose of Advocate which is combined flea and worm prevention applied as a spot on the back of the neck. It's very little hassle and essential to keep on top of flea treatment when you have 4 cats, especially when one is allergic to fleas.

We don't bother with vaccinations as they get stressed when they go to the vets, we haven't had any issues apart from Isis getting a dose of cat flu but she had that not long before (which is how she came to be taken in by a sanctuary) so seems susceptible to it.
