Give me your opinion on whether I should change my car

Hi all I'd like your opinions on whether or not I should change my car.
It's a 54 Corsa 1.3 CDTI SXI - it's done 57,000 miles and is reliable, drives well, is extremely economical and is generally everything I could want from a car except...
It's a little bit small.
I only have a small family - it's just the three of us and the dog but there are times when I need to pick up some flatpacks, take stuff to the dump or even go for a day out to the beach (like yesterday) and I'm literally cramming stuff into the boot!
We've been all over the country in it and I borrow a roofbox to go on holiday so that helps enormously but that can only really be used now and again it can't really be used as a permanent fixture on my roof!
Now this isn't just a case of penis envy - I don't want a big boot just for the sake of it!
But I just see the big boots on other people's cars and get this feeling that five years down the line when I eventually change the car and get something bigger, I'll obviously notice this massive difference when loading it up with stuff and think 'why the hell didn't I do this years ago!?'
What does everyone think?
It's not really a massive issue but the car being little is a pain sometimes I gotta be honest.
What do people think? Persevere with the Corsa or get an Astra or Focus estate or something?

I could have written this.
I drive a 12 year old Ka that I have had since it was a year old. There's only me, the other half and our 18 year old son (who really wouldn't want too be seen dead with his mum and dad out driving anywhere). I can (just) fit a week's shopping in the boot and if I go out with my mum and sister at the weekend, we always go in one of their cars because nobody wants to fold themselves into my back seat.
BUT.... I love my Ka. I love it's AirCon, the CD player, the lilac metallic paintwork, the fact that it's only done 41,250 miles. I have had a couple of dreams that I traded it in and immediately regretted it.
It's paid for, the insurance is only £104 fully comp and I do about 2000 miles a year, but I really am hankering after a bigger model with a bit more oomph!
I spent today looking at cars and am going out again tomorrow. I'm veering towards an i30 although I saw and Auris that winked at me too..."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -
Ha ha Pimento looks like we're in the same boat!
I'm similar to you I love my Corsa, I've had it since it was a year old with 3,000 miles on it and as I've said it's a fantastic little car but when all is said and done it is still little!
But I've changed a perfectly good car for something flashier a good few years back and had nothing but problems with the new car.
And if I did get rid of the Corsa and get something bigger that ended up causing me problems I'd be kicking myself!
Decisions, decisions... :rotfl:

I had a 03 plate corsa sxi which I loved but once I had my son there was no way of fitting a pram into the corsa so I changed it for a ford focus lx and am so glad I did, there is so much room in the focus and when clearing out stuff to the tip you can fit about 3 times more stuff in the focus than in the corsa. I managed to fit loads of stuff from ikea in the focus as well even though DH said it wouldn't all fit in!0
