Bankruptcy and Saas Funding

Hi guys,
Looking for some advice regarding how being made bankrupt will affect SAAS funding for a degree? This would be a 5 yr medicine degree beginning 2011.
There is a tick box on the application that asks if you have been made bankrupt...in what way does this affect bursary (Independent student Bursary) and the loan?

Certainly in England, being bankrupt has no effect on obtaining student funding and I can't imagine that Scotland is any different.0
