Renault Grande scenic

I've a five year old 1.6 grand scenic which we've had for two years and it has been great. So far all it has cost us it two services and MOTs. It is really flexible and great for going down to the tip, taking grandparents out with us, chucking kids bikes in the boot.
You're not going to burn anyone up at the lights but on the whole it drives ok and we return about 30mpg which is mainly small, stop/start local journeys. Kids also love it as they are higher up in relation to the bottom of the windows so can easliy see out.
I much prefer it to the old Zafira (which my dad had) as the seats are much more fexible. The second row all slide/fold/come out individually rather than the single bench in the Zaf. In the Scenic to get to the 3rd row the two middle side seats fold foward but in the Zaf you need to slide the whole bench forward and let the back down - which is a pain at the best of times and impossible if you have kids seats strapped in.
Thanks for the reply..a handy point to know as would have never thought of that above..thinking the 2 main seats that need to be in all the time could go in the back but doesn't make it entirely easier for me! One of the mums at school has one so shes another im going to quizz when i see her!

If your buying private if you don't know about cars take some who does. With ebay view before bidding. Use the a HPI service and learn where the VIN plates are.0

We have a 1.9 top of the range which we bought brand new two years ago to tour around Europe with our two grown kids. It is really powerful and goes like a bomb if you want it to, it handles brilliantly, holds the road well, and the seats must be the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a car. The front ones are like armchairs, plus being high up the visibility is excellent as is the huge windscreen. I use hire cars a lot with my job, and I haven't yet found a car as comfortable as this, a boon on long journeys. We have only had it serviced so far so can't comment on costs, but I have a Renault, and I know what people say about French cars but when you see how many Clios and Peugots flying around they must be reasonably Ok?0
