I have just changed over to vodafone at home from madasafish.

I have a btinternet email address and my settings used to be:

POP3: mail.btinternet.com

smtp: mail.madasafish.com

This used to work fine. I have now changed the smtp to 'smtp.vodafoneathome.co.uk' but cannot send mail.

I have googled and tried a few different things but to no avail. Is there any way around this?

Thanks

0×800ccc0e is a Windows error code informing you that something went wrong with Microsoft Outlook Express. The error is typically caused by SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) trying to connect to a port that has been blocked.

The error message probably looks something like this:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: “your_name”,
Server: “SMTP_server”, Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): NO,
Socket error: 10061, Error Number: 0×800ccc0e
