Hi all - Im hoping some of you 'techie' people will be able to help me.
Basically - what (apart from size!) is the difference between the iPhone and the iPad? You can make calls and take photos with the iPhone and you can't with the iPad so whats all the hype with the iPad about? In my mad head the iPhone just seems better as although it may be much smaller it actually does more stuff??:huh::huh:
Thanks

One is a mobile telephone, the other is a tablet computer.
If you want something to make phone calls with, don't buy an iPad.0 -
Despite anything you may have been told to the contrary size really does matter...0

You'd be correct. There are a lot of people who have bought into the iPad hype however they won't admit they've bought a pig in a poke.0 -

I haven't used my desktop since I got my iPad. It's definitely the best purchase of recent years (even better than my $42 gas barbecue from Walmart if you can believe such a thing).0

iPads are shiny.
Actually if my Macbook Pro is anything to go by, iPads tend to be rather dirty once used.0 -
The iPad has certainly reduced the amount of time I've spent using my MacBook pro as some things it does are just as good. It is not meant to be a big iPhone and it's not.
You have to use one to see how good it is.
I have written documents on it and emailed in Word and produced spreadsheets and saved in Excel.
I've read a book, not so user friendly on a computer. Used it to demo my work and got two jobs from it.
It also enjoyed using the internet which has worked faster than my Macbook pro, using email which is better than the iPhone, I use the calendar which is better than the iPhone (but synced with it) and it is fast.
I have also used Skype. The maps are bigger and better to use.
There are things I can do only with my laptop but they both compliment each other.
I wish people who have not used one properly, that is not at all or just in store would stop criticising it. Everyone who has used mine loves it.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. The IPad is actually a pretty good device - the price still makes me wince though, its just too expensive for what it is.0
