Anyone got any experience of "chipsaway"?

Or the various similar companys?

Due to travelling on a newly resurfaced road both front wings & bonnet have a fair few chips that need sorting but, given that the car is silver & probably the hardest colour to match, I'm debating a 3 panel respray.

Just wondered if they were worth a try?

It'll look vile after a few months!

Also wait until you come to sell the car as the same thing could happen in a few weeks and its more money wasted...

I think a lot of it depends on the actual workman that does the job.
I had my front wing touched up by chipsaway years ago and it looks rubbish - I could have probably
done a better respray job myself (and that is saying something!!!)
but I had a friend who then went on to get a CA franchise, and the work I've seen him do looks
    infinitely better than my job.

Friend now has a franchise for a different company as he didn't like the way that CA worked.

If your car is your pride and joy, I would consider getting a proper respray. If it's a day to day
runabout then try one of the cheaper alternatives.

It's deffo not a runabout :) Although it's old (2000) it's been kept pristine & has a few "tweaks". I was already leaning to having the panels sprayed properly but it's being without the car for a few days...that's a major problem.
